Rumors Swirling

It has now been nearly an hour since the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee was supposed to come back from lunch and the rumor in the room is that the Clinton forces on the committee are trying to gain a majority of committee members willing to punt the issue of seating Florida and Michigan (or at least Michigan) to the Credentials Committee.

If the committee does punt, it comes as a potential deal on Florida seems all but agreed to. But if today’s proceedings have shown anything it is that the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton camps, along with the Michigan Democratic Party and the committee, are still a long way away from reconciling their differences on Michigan.
