‘Flirting with McCain Victory’
Former Democratic Governor of Michigan James Blanchard, speaking on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign, said that if the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee “turns its back on Florida and Michigan” it will be “flirting with McCain victory.”
Blanchard made clear that the Clinton campaign does not support the Michigan Democratic party’s plan of splitting the delegates 69-59. Instead, the Clinton campaign wants a 73 – 55 split.
The makes three different delegate plans for Michigan, as the Obama campaign is sticking to a even 64-64 split, that the committee will have to choose between this afternoon once the meeting finally breaks for lunch.
