Wexler: Obama Should Be Commended for Offering Concession
Endorsing the Ausman petition that would seat 50 percent of Florida’s delegates, Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.) said, “Sen. Obama should be commended for his willingness to offer this extraordinary concession.”
Wexler was booed when he announced that the Obama campaign supports giving Florida’s superdelegates half of their votes.
The Florida Democrat also said Obama was not as well known in the state at the time of the primary and not campaigning there hurt him.
“This process was not a normal primary election,” Wexler said.
