Kerry: McCain Call to Visit Iraq with Obama ‘Overt Political Stunt’
The Hill’s Kristen Coulter tells The Briefing Room that during a Barack Obama campaign conference call this morning, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) dismissed John McCain’s call for Obama to come visit Iraq with him is a “very overt political stunt.”
Though Kerry blasted McCain’s “stunt” he did concede that Obama “would be well-served” to “perhaps consider a trip.”
