Robo Pollsters Near Top Of Poblano’s Pollster Ratings

Poblano, whose spot-on polling analyses have earned the attention of Bill Kristol, rates two automated polling firms among the top three firms this cycle.

SurveyUSA and Rasmussen Reports, both of whom rely on automated recordings to conduct polls, have the second- and third-best track records for predicting final presidential primary and caucus results in 2008. The highest rated firm is Selzer & Co.

Two polls used by traditional media, the CBS/New York Times poll and Zogby Interactive’s polls (used by Reuters), have the worst records for national firms.
