Newsbusters: The Decembrists, Not Obama, Were The Big Draw In Oregon

It was the rock band, not just Barack Obama, that drew a crowd of 75,000 in Portland, Ore., on Sunday, according to the right-wing blog Newsbusters.

The Decembrists played before Obama’s rally, prompting blogger Robert Knight to suggest that media coverage of the “Obama Mass,” as Drudge Report called it, was overblown.

Swampland’s Ana Marie Cox, however, has some skepticism — and a lot of snark — for Knight’s argument:
