McCaskill Hits Back at Ferraro
Barack Obama supporter Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) hit back at Geraldine Ferraro on MSNBC Tuesday for calling Obama “sexist” and claiming she will likely not vote for the Illinois Senator.
“Frankly, it is bitterly disappointing to me that a woman like Geraldine Ferraro would actually publicly say she is thinking about supporting John McCain, and what he would represent to women in this country,” McCaskill said.
“Really, the issues are so much more important than the people here.”
Earlier on the “Today Show” Ferraro reiterated her claim about Obama and said that she would blame a Hillary Clinton loss on gender.
