Poll: Key Clinton Blocks Moving to Obama
A new Gallup poll shows the many voting groups committed to Hillary Clinton throughout the Democratic primary contest are beginning to trend in Barack Obama’s favor.
Clinton’s support has fallen below 50 percent in many of her “stalwart support groups” according to the poll.
Those groups include non-Hispanic whites, women, those with a high school degree or less, Hispanics and Democrats residing in the East.
The only major demographic group identified by the polling firm that still supports Clinton by over 50 percent is women aged 50 or older.
