As soon as the polls closed, AP called West Virginia for Hillary Clinton.
The pre-spin from the campaigns indicates the Clinton campaign will argue the West Virginia win proves the New York Senator would offer a strong challenge to John McCain in the general election.
The Obama camp, meanwhile, made clear Tuesday that, no matter what the margin, the result wouldn’t make a difference on the race.
