DCCC Memo: No Good News For GOP In Tuesday’s Mississippi Election
The tight race for Sen. Roger Wicker’s (R-Miss.) old House seat doesn’t bode well for Republicans, according to a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) memo released as voters in the district go to the polls.
The memo points out that Republican presidential candidates have carried the district by at least 20 points in recent elections. Democrat Travis Childers and Republican Greg Davis have been locked in a tight race for the seat, vacated by Wicker when he was appointed to the Senate.
