Obama & Clinton Cordial in Senate
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were together in the Senate today and Political Radar reports the two Democratic rivals were cordial. The blog reports that Obama “walked purposefully over to party rival New York Senator Hillary Clinton to shake her hand and pat her on the arm.”
The two senators were taking a break from the campaign trail Tuesday to vote to suspend filling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in order to curb the rising price of gas. The vote was 97-1.
