N.O. Mayor Ray Nagin Endorses Obama

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin joins Indiana Rep. Joe Donnelly (D) as Barack Obama’s second superdelegate of the day. Obama won the Louisiana primary in February commanding 57 percent of the vote.

In a statement, Nagin said Obama represents “a new generation of leadership” and credited the Illinois Senator’s work to “help address the needs of our Gulf Coast communities” following Hurricane Katrina.
