Bill Clinton Argues With Voter Over Hillary’s Healthcare Record
Though pundits are writing off Hillary Clinton’s chances of becoming the Democrats’ presidential nominee, Bill Clinton is still fighting hard for her campaign.
Clinton, filmed by CBS News in Fayetteville, W.Va., on Thursday, takes umbrage at a voter who suggests that his wife didn’t work for healthcare reforms while in the White House.
“I can’t believe you’re saying this,” Clinton tells the woman. “There are millions of pages of documents that we have released, showing the exhausting work that was done, the tens of thousands of people we consulted, the rallies and meetings we had all over the country.”
He adds say that there’s nobody in the country who has more credibility on healthcare than Hillary Clinton. “And for you or any other person to claim she didn’t work on it is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard!” Bill Clinton said to cheers from the crowd.
