Pelosi Not Worried About Extended Primary: ‘I Like Combat’

Many Democrats are expressing fear that the ongoing primary between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is bad for the party and giving a free pass to John McCain, but not House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif).

During her weekly press conference Pelosi was asked if the race had reached a point where the Speaker could drop her neutrality and endorse a candidate.

Pelosi said no and that she continues “to be excited about the campaigns.”

“Me? I like combat. You know, I think the best training for campaigning is campaigning.”
