SEIU Ad Attacks McCain Over Health Care

The Service Employees International Union has a new ad that criticizes John McCain’s health care proposals.

The ad, called “Feeling The Pain,” criticizes McCain for joining President Bush in opposing measures that were backed by Democrats and that the group believes would have stopped a rise in health care costs. It features doctors and nurses, who make up much of the union’s membership, voicing concern about further cost increases.

The union has endorsed Barack Obama for president.

Its ad is slated to run in Washington D.C. and Ohio. It comes on the same day that McCain unveiled his health care plans, which would provide tax credits to help pay for insurance.
