Younger Than McCain

Despite a promise from DNC Chairman Howard Dean to not use age as an issue against Arizona Senator John McCain (R), Democratic activist Steve Rosenthal has gone ahead and done it with a new blog called “Younger Than McCain.”

Rosenthal is the former political director at the AFL-CIO and executive director of America Coming Together.

From the opening post on the blog:

Recently when I was celebrating my 55th birthday, I told a friend that while I don’t feel old, 55 IS old. In an attempt to console me, she said, “Hey, you’re not old, John McCain is old. You’re younger than McCain.” I immediately thought, yes, John McCain is OLD.

Along with the website, is a 90-second web video that essentially just lists things old than McCain. Things like the Golden Gate Bridge, McDonald’s, FM radio, and Dick Cheney.
