Alan Keyes Leaves GOP

Alan Keyes will announce Tuesday that he is leaving the GOP and possibly headed to the Constitution Party for a potential third party run for President.

Keyes is livecasting the announcement at 8:30 p.m eastern on his website.

“Conservatives have a home in the [Constitution Party] that they can find nowhere else, given the decline of the Republican Party’s credibility as a voice and vehicle for conservatism,” Keyes said in a statement.

The Constitution Party holds its nominating convention next week.
