‘Meet’ lands Biden for June 14th return
Though NBC’s “Meet the Press” may be pre-empted this Sunday by the French Open, it hopes to return with a bang a week later.
The June 14th show will feature an exclusive interview with Vice President Biden next weekend, NBC announced Friday.
The episode should help boost the show’s ratings lead, which ABC competitor “This Week” has eroded in recent months.
The show on the 14th will notably come just a year after the program’s longtime moderator, Tim Russert, collapsed and died while taping a voiceover for the show.
