McConnell to Dems: Don’t Rush the Stimulus
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) urged Democrats in a statement Friday not to rush a stimulus bill through Congress, warning that taxpayer money could be wasted if the bill didn’t get a bipartisan review.
McConnell earlier this week said he supported an economic stimulus but said that it shouldn’t become a vehicle for undeserved projects.
