Democrats need to develop the organizational skills to match the town hall protesters, Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) said today.
“It’s exactly how I feel,” Sestak said on MSNBC when asked whether Democrats have been out-hustled. “How can we complain?”
Sestak said that Democrats haven’t done a good enough job of explaining the benefits of the bill, ceding the message war to the town hall protesters.
“We have to listen, but more than that we also [have]…to get out there and explain what’s good in this bill,” Sestak said.
