Hillary Clinton will campaign on the pay gap between men and women for the next week leading up to the April 22 Pennsylvania primary, which will also be Equal Pay Day this year.
Clinton’s campaign announced the effort today in a press release. The campaign has launched an online pay gap calculator, and women will blog on the “women for Hillary” portion of the campaign’s website throughout the week. Former Congressional Caucus on Women’s Issues Co-Chair Hilda Solis (D-Calif.) was the first to blog with a post today.
The campaign also says it will host events across the country, beginning today with a “Women’s Day of Action”in North Carolina featuring National Organization for Women President Kim Gandy.
