NBC’s “Saturday Night LIve” went after congressional Republicans last night. After learning that Democrats were drafting the economic stimulus bill without their input, one says:”So basically we’re being cut out.”
“That’s great.”
“This is perfect. They’re not letting us participate at all.”
“It’s like we don’t even exist.”
“We’re totally powerless,” another says, giving a high five.
“You’re right. It’s just what we hoped for: complete political irrelevance.”
