Rasmussen: Obama ends week with 59% approval

The week end Rasmussen Reports tracking shows President Obama’s job approval rating at 59 percent. Thirty-nine percent disapprove, which includes a new high for those that strongly disapprove of the president, 29 percent.

Looking at the trend, looks like Obama’s approval has stayed between 57 percent and 65 percent in the Rasmussen tracking polls. Those numbers are similar, though slightly lower, than Gallup’s tracking numbers. Interestingly, the Rasmussen numbers don’t show much of a jump after Obama’s Tuesday night speech, like Gallup’s did.
