Coburn Says He Prays for Obama Every Day
Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) is a strong critic of President Obama’s stimulus plan, but that hasn’t stopped him from praying for the commander-in-chief on a daily basis.
During an interview on C-SPAN on Tuesday, Coburn said he and his family pray for Obama every day.
Coburn, a staunch conservative, recalled a recent conversation with the president when Obama asked him, “Are you praying for me?”
Coburn and Obama worked together on ethics legislation in the Senate.
