Reid Tight-Lipped Over Meeting With Lieberman

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was upbeat but tight-lipped Thursday when pressed about the Senate and what would happen to Sen. Joe Lieberman.

When asked how he would govern with the Democrats’ newly expanded majority, Reid said “a lot better.”

When asked whether Lieberman would lose his chairmanship, Reid offered no clues.

“Why don’t you let me talk to him first?” he said.

But at least Reid had warm words for reporters staking out the meeting.

“Oh I’ve missed you guys,” he said with a smile.
