Funeral Services to Be Held Thursday for Christine Durbin

Private funeral services are scheduled for Thursday near Washington D.C. for the daughter of Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).

The services are limited to family and close friends of Christine Ann Durbin, 40, who died on Saturday of complications from a congenital heart condition. The services are being held in suburban Maryland.

Instead of flowers, Durbin’s family says charitable donations can be made to: Children’s Heart Institute, Adult Congenital Heart Research (in honor of Chris Durbin), Children’s National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Ave. NW, Washington D.C., 20010.
