Bush Fears YouTube

President Bush’s staff is so weary of a potential slip becoming a YouTube sensation, that at a fundraiser in Tucson, Arizona they asked even 400 loyal supporters gathered to sign checks to turn off any recording devices.

“I don’t know a lot about technology,” Bush said, according to the Arizona Daily Star, “but I do know about YouTube.”

Bush has fallen victim to the video hosting site several times as misstatements and mistakes (as well as occasional dancing) has become popular fodder for liberal bloggers and YouTube watchers alike.

A video of Bush singing his remarks during a March closed-door fundraiser, for example, has been viewed over 72,000 times.
