Webb Appearing on Colbert & Rose Monday

Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) is appearing on both Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report and PBS’s Charlie Rose show Monday night.

Webb will sit down with Rose before going on Colbert, a transition that seems like it would be jarring. But Webb’s office tells The Briefing Room that the transition from serious to silly should be no problem for the Virginia Senator.

Last time Webb went on The Daily Show, he did it right after giving a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations.
