Kennedy Returns to Hyannis Port Home

Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) is returning to his home in Hyannis Port today, nearly a week after undergoing surgery for a brain tumor at Duke University Medical Center.

His office said that doctors are “pleased” with his progress and that he’ll recuperate from home. The office added that there won’t be regular updates about Kennedy’s health in the interest of family privacy.

His doctors are pleased with his progress since surgery a week ago, and he will continue to recuperate at home before starting the next phase of his treatment.
