Bush Seen Practicing Wedding Walk

President Bush has recently been seen walking around the West Wing with his arm out, as if practicing the trek he will take this weekend when he walks his daughter Jenna down the aisle to marry former Karl Rove aide Henry Hager.

During this morning’s White House press gaggle, a reporter asked spokesman Gordon Johndroe about it. Johndroe said “perhaps he is practicing,” adding “he’s excited, like a proud father is, to see one of his daughters get married.”

Vice President Dick Cheney had his own quip this morning about this weekend’s wedding. At a check-writing facility in Philadelphia, Cheney passed on the President’s best wishes to the crowd and then said, “right now he’s on his way to Texas for his daughter’s wedding this weekend. So you can bet he’ll be writing a few checks, too.”
