Shuttle Buses to Take Medics to Work Tuesday

Officials are planning to use shuttle buses to get medical personnel to work in the Washington D.C. area hospitals on Inauguration day, officials announced Wednesday.

The decision came after a group of Virginia lawmakers met with the Secret Service, D.C.-area hospitals, and Virginia and D.C. officials to express their concern that hospital workers could have difficulty getting to work on Jan. 20.

Earlier this week the Secret Service announced its plans to limit traffic over the Potomac River bridges from Virginia into D.C. Officials have estimated that as many as 4 million people are planning to come to the city to witness the ceremonies of the day.
