Obama Digitalized as Super Mario
Forget Mount Rushmore. President-elect Barack Obama already has his own video game.
In “Super Obama World,” the president-elect reprises the role of Super Mario, the star of “Super Mario Bros.” who hopped his way into America’s heart in the 1980s and 1990s. Just like Mario, Obama jumps on enemies to flatten them. But instead of seeking gold coins and rescuing the Mushroom Kingdom, Obama collects American flags and fights bad guys in Alaska.
The free online game is made by ZenSoft, a Wisconsin software company. On the game’s web site, ZenSoft says that more battlegrounds are coming, including Arizona, Illinois and Washington, D.C.
