“Saturday Night Live” is looking at a quartet of comedians to play President-elect Barack Obama, according to insiders who spoke to The Daily Beast.
The anonymous sources said that the four under consideration auditioned earlier this year for the role, which is currently played by six-year SNL veteran Fred Armisen.
The contenders are: Jordan Carlos, a regular on “The Colbert Report”; Donald Glover, a writer for “30 Rock”; Wyatt Cenac, a “Daily Show” correspondent; and Jordan Peele, a “MadTV” cast member.
The Daily Beast has video of all four.
