Edwards to Speak at Indiana University after Election Day
Former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) is plotting a comeback, at least on the lecture circuit.
Edwards is scheduled to speak at Indiana University on Nov. 11, according to The Times-Mail of Bedford, Ind. He’ll talk about the effect of the election results on the country’s political and economic future.
Edwards last month canceled all his public events before the election, saying that he didn’t want to take away from Democrats’ effort to elect Barack Obama president. He admitted last summer to having an extra-marital affair with a former worker on his presidential campaign.
