Our Economy Needs A Carrot, Not A Stick (Rep. Kenny Hulshof)
Now is not the time to be penalizing those who make our economy work, but that is exactly what this Democrat AMT bill does. Instead of providing true tax relief, the Majority is simply shifting the tax burden to the job creators of our country. This is never a good idea, but especially right now, when our economy needs a carrot, not a stick.
As if delaying a fix wasn’t bad enough, they’re now compounding that error with billions of dollars in tax increases.
American taxpayers need real relief from the AMT, but this bill falls woefully short.
