Colorado Rockies Are Not Done Playing Yet (Sen. Wayne Allard)

What a ride it has been for our Colorado Rockies. It was certainly a thrill to watch the broom-toting fans at Coors Field celebrate the Rockies’ big win last night sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks out of the National League Championship Series and clinching the first World Series birth in franchise history.

From four and a half games back in the wildcard race with only nine games to play, to two games behind with two games to play, the Rockies watched the San Diego Padres team they were trying to catch get within one strike of clinching, and here they are headed to the World Series. What a thrill to watch.

No team in baseball history has ever overcome these odds to play in a World Series.

Let’s enjoy one of the most historic and compelling stories in baseball history. This team is not done playing yet.
