I think Gen. Petraeus is being very candid, a bit careful, as he should be, and I think Ambassador Crocker is being very diplomatic in his comments with respect to the Iraqi government, particularly Prime Minister Maliki. The one question that still hasn’t gotten answered is if you give the surge more time, what are the chances or the odds that their government is going to kick into gear to achieve the political, diplomatic and economic conditions. That’s just not answered.
