Rep. Deborah Pryce: An Exceptional Leader in the House (Rep. Roy Blunt)

Deborah’s tremendous service in the House is a testament to her strength of character and unfailing sense of duty — both to the people of Columbus, whom she has fiercely represented for nearly 15 years, and to her grateful colleagues in Congress.

From the moment she arrived in Washington, Deborah proved an exceptional leader willing and able to take on the biggest tasks — helping Republicans write the Contract with America, and eventually serving as the chair of the Republican conference. Throughout it all, she remained a strong advocate for her beliefs, and even stronger advocate for the people of central Ohio.

I’m confident that Deborah’s service to her community will not end once she leaves the House.  And as that service continues, in whatever form it may take, I think I speak for all of my colleagues in wishing her the very best.
