A Slap in the Face to Our Military (Rep. Tom Price)

The delay in bringing the supplemental to the floor initially, and then these continued delays, does an absolute disservice to our men and women who are protecting us in harm’s way — protecting our liberty and our freedom. Each day that goes by is another slap in the face to our military and to those men and women who are defending us. So, from a moral standpoint, I’m not certain how the majority party is able to tolerate the stance that they’ve taken. Because clearly what they’ve done is plotted a path that is not able to reach a consensus, is not able to gain at least the votes of a significant portion of the minority party, is not able to gain the signature of the president that’s required for them to move forward. So what their action is doing is resulting in greater harm and greater risk to our men and women in the field.
