Oberstar Says Bush Ignores Public Sentiment on Iraq
Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.), in this video his office released, said President Bush’s veto on the Iraq supplemental fails to acknowledge growing concerns about the war.
“The President has shown no willingness to understand here the voice of the people,” Oberstar said. “We had an election last fall that was fought principally on the issue of Iraq.”
