Glad to See the President Come Around on a Wage Hike
I’ve long supported an increase in the federal minimum wage and am pleased to see that the president has finally turned around on this important issue. A wage hike for American workers will go a long way in guaranteeing some of our most vulnerable citizens get an adequate return on their work effort.
I look forward to returning to Washington in January and enacting a bipartisan bill that will not only increase the take home pay for workers, but also use the tax code to provide new relief to some of our smaller businesses.
