Sebelius stiffs Arkansas delegation on ObamaCare answers
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has so far ignored a request from Arkansas Republicans to provide information about how ObamaCare is affecting their state.
On October 28, Arkansas Republicans wrote Sebelius a letter saying there are fewer insurance choices under Obamacare in their state than state officials promised. As a result, they asked for any correspondence between Sebelius and state officials on how the law would affect health coverage, the number of ObamaCare enrollees as of late October, and other information.
{mosads}They asked for that information by Friday, November 1, and asked HHS to contact their offices if that deadline could not be met.
But on Sunday, Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), said Selebius has not reached out at all.
“Our letter requested a response by Friday, November 1, 2013, but we have yet to receive any communication from HHS,” Cotton said.
