Sebelius, Kerry, Lew testify in the House next week

The House will hear from three Obama administration Cabinet secretaries next week on healthcare, Iran and international finance.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies Wednesday at an Energy and Commerce Committee hearing titled “PPACA Implementation Failures: What’s Next?” That hearing will give members of both parties a chance to press Sebelius on the operation of the ObamaCare website.

{mosads}Secretary of State John Kerry testifies Tuesday at the House Foreign Affairs Committee to discuss the Iran nuclear deal and whether it furthers U.S. national security. Several members of Congress from both parties have criticized the nuclear deal, which they say will let Iran continue to enrich uranium even as the U.S. drops billions of dollars’ worth of sanctions.

And, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will meet with lawmakers on Wednesday to deliver his annual report on the state of the International Finance System. That hearing could give GOP members a chance to press Lew on the pending budget and debt-ceiling deadlines that will hit early next year.
