Obama Cabinet heads to the House to talk budget

Several members of President Obama’s Cabinet will testify before the House next week, to defend Obama’s 2015 budget request.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew testifies Wednesday at the House Budget Committee on the administration’s budget and revenue estimates.

{mosads}Secretary of State John Kerry will appear twice — once at a Wednesday Appropriations Committee hearing, and again Thursday at the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The Appropriations Committee will also hear from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson on Tuesday, Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx on Wednesday, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Thursday, and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack on Friday.

Finally, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius meets the House Ways and Means Committee Wednesday to discuss her budget.
