Tuesday: Energy in the House, ‘morning business’ in the Senate
The House will also take up H.R. 1016 under a suspension of the rules. This bill would require a report describing the progress in rebuilding Haiti since last year’s earthquake.
The Senate meets at 10 a.m. and appears to have the entire day reserved for “morning business for debate” for the day, with the exception of caucus lunches at 12:30 p.m.
The Senate has been agenda-less since last week, although it might soon take up a bill from Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) that would raise taxes on oil companies.
