Wednesday: Finishing agricultural appropriations
Along the way, members are expected to strip four pieces of the bill through points of order. These parts include one section that would prohibit the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from releasing regulations unless they are based on “hard science.”
The Rules Committee did not protect these four elements from points of order, and they are expected to fall today.
The Senate meets at 10 a.m. and might continue work on S. 782, the Economic Development Revitalization Act.
