Clinton to testify next week on Afghanistan, Pakistan
On Wednesday, the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction will meet to explore federal discretionary spending, as that committee works to develop a plan for long-term deficit reduction in the next few weeks.
Another key hearing will be held Wednesday on the consequences of sequestering defense funding if the new congressional supercommittee can’t agree to a spending-reduction deal.
