House approves suspension bills, returns at 2:45 p.m.

By voice vote, the House approved:

H.R. 2405, the Pandemic and All-Hazards Reauthorization Act. This bill reauthorizes laws meant to protect the U.S. against chemical, nuclear and other attacks.

H.R. 3237, the SOAR Technical Corrections Act, which makes corrections to the Scholarship for Opportunity and Results Act.

H.R. 2297, which allows the District of Columbia to lease or sell land on the Southwest waterfront in furtherance of the District’s redevelopment plans.
