Boustany calls for Holder’s resignation over Fast and Furious
Boustany was not specific, but Holder in November acknowledged that he was aware of the operation for a longer period of time than he indicated back in the spring. Boustany did blame Holder for not working with Mexican authorities in ATF’s effort to track guns as they crossed the border.
“This botched program should never have been authorized in the first place,” Boustany said. “Attorney General Holder should resign over his failure and his evasive and contradictory testimony to the United States Congress.”
