Tuesday: Debate on terrorist attack warnings, sportsmen’s bill

The House will consider eight bills under suspension of the rules, including a measure to establish a working group within the Department of Homeland Security to provide guidance for emergency responses on social media before, during and after a terrorist attack. 

{mosads}Another bill under consideration would require the Transportation Security Administration to establish a process for providing “expedited and dignified” screening services for veterans traveling to war memorials dedicated to their service. 

The House vote series will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Senate starts at 10 a.m. and will continue debating a bipartisan sportsmen’s bill. From 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. the Senate will recess for weekly caucus luncheons.

No Senate votes are scheduled.
